Cheap gaming build

QuantumBit

Hi my friend wants a gaming PC build but he has a really low budget (As of now he has 100, but he can get more) All he needs to do is light gaming (Terraira, MC, etc)

His current rig is a laptop with a AMD A8 7410 APU (Radeon R5) and 8GB of ram. Something better than that please

Thanks!

(Please dont go over 500-600 US)

Edit: As for monitor and OS we haven't sorted that out, but for now don't include it please :)

Hey, I'd say go advice him to buy the following components:

- Intel Core i3 6100 (obvious choice in this price range, don't get a pentium or athlon)

- Asus H110M-A (best mainboard in this price range in my opinion, but thats only since I like Asus's UEFI BIOS best)

- 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM (dual-channel kit)

- Asus RX460 or GTX 750 TI (since its still significantly cheaper than a GTX 1050 TI and suffices the needs)

- 450W Corsair VS-series PSU

- 500 or 1000GB WD Blue HDD (but I'd suggest the 1000GB since it only costs like 6$ more and is much better value for money)

- Bitfenix Nova (since its most likely the only case that will come with filtered intakes at a price of under 30$)

These should cost about 400-450$. For that money he gets really solid entry-level gaming performance in full-hd resolution. I'd highly suggest not going any lower in terms of specifications, because otherwise it will definitley deteriorate his experience while gaming.

The cheapest possible build that can game is the one in my signature. However, he will get better value from a Zen APU if he can wait a few days.
