I know i've been asking questions lately but im not really big expert so i kinda need help, and this is the site i come to search for it.

So my question is should i get i7-5820k or i7-6700k (i can get both for the same price exept that 5820k is tray version so it has less warranty)
-My main focus will be streaming and gaming on it at the same time + video rendering
-Games im going to stream will mostly be WoW and CS:GO. Thanks

If you can get either for the same price, you may as well go for the 6700K, as it's newer and generally performs better using less power.

I find sites like CPU boss helpful.

I presume you need to buy all the other components as well?

It's down to what you prioritize more - better games, or faster rendering? Games prefer quadcore CPU's that can be clocked faster, while rendering (mostly) benefit from more cores, that often can't reach an as high clock.

Asus X99-A w/ BIOS 3402 | Intel i7 5820k OC @4.4GHz 1.28V w/ Noctua NH-U14S | 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 OC @2666MHz 12-14-14-28 | Asus Geforce GTX970 STRIX OC | EVGA 750 G2 750W | Samsung 850 Evo 1 TB | Windows 10 64-bit | Be-Quiet Silent Base 800 w/ Silent Wings | 2x Dell U2414H OC @72Hz w/ Display Port

Don't forget to invest in an Intel Tuning Plan if you're going to overvolt your K/X CPU

Did you need any assistance picking out other components?

Happy to help.

If you dont mind it would be great. I haven't decided about motherboard yet, and i was thinking about evo 212 for cpu cooler since im gonna do slight oc on it, and i don't really care that much about ram. (also if i get case, its not gonna be some super expensive - about 50$ tops)

I don't really need super fast rendering since its not gonna be my main thing im doing. Im gonna be focused on gaming and streaming 95% of the time.

Then a quadcore would be beneficial. Can't tell though what's the best if you want to game and stream at the same time... anyone?

The games mentioned, don't utilize (i think) that many cores at once, which should leave plenty of overhead available for any streaming software.

Well not really. I just don't wanna go for overkill (something simple that will work fine with oc) And good airflow case.

With your GPU, do you plan on playing any AAA games in the future or just sticking to CS and WoW?

Also, water-cooling is an option that work well with overclocking, would you consider that?

Yes i do. I  consider water-cooling as well but maybe later since i wanna get new pc running as soon as possible. (Since i have other bills to pay it will take more time to get the required money)

Ok, so I've just quickly done up a parts list

PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VGbnyf
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($329.44 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler  ($34.88 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z170-P ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($92.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory  ($93.99 @ Jet)
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($94.75 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  ($49.78 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Strix Video Card  ($309.88 @ OutletPC)
Case: Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($68.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: Corsair CSM 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit  ($88.58 @ OutletPC)
Total: $1243.26

It did end up being a tad more expensive than I first anticipated, however it does leave a fair bit of room for future proofing.

The total is in USD.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Yeah, this is what im probably gonna get for the parts im missing exept the cpu cooler, its so rare to find in my country(in europe too) that i decided to go for evo 212 instead. And sorry to bother, but one more question.. Do you think my 500W 80+bronze is gonna do fine job with this mobo/cpu/gpu?

No worries, just that the 212 evo might limit your overclocking a little, but it should be fine up until you decide whether or not to go for water-cooling.

Do you already own the PSU? If so, then yeah 500W should be plenty for the system. CPU (skylake) and GPU (Pascal) architectures are incredibly efficient nowadays, meaning you get a substantial amount of performance per Watt.

Only thing to consider is if you want water cooling, as I'm not sure how much power this uses, but I'd reckon you'd be fine.
Overclocking should be well within the PSU capabilities, as long as you aren't doing anything crazy
