My brother just got a desktop and didn't have a monitor so i decided to lend it to him for a few hours. I just recently got it back and tried to put it back into my computer and no signal could be found using a VGA connector. So i switched the ends and still nothing, restarted my computer and still nothing. Then I realized my mouse, keyboard and wireless adapter were also not turning on. But my headset connector was. I tried all my mouse keyboard etc.. on my brothers computer and they worked. So i figured my USB Ports are dead. It seemed as if they weren't getting enough power and i'm stumped on what to do. My computer is running fine but nothing will work via USB. Help please.

Not sure, but you could have one of the USB items shorting out or something, try unplugging ALL the USB items you have and then only plugging in a mouse/keyboard, just one to see if they are working now. If it works then plug the others in one at a time testing to see if they work as you plug them in. You may get to one that then either halts the system/reboots or maybe just stops all the ports working again. Discard that USB to test somewhere else and try again.

okay testing that, Nothing is currently plugged in, so i tried plugging in my mouse the only thing plugged into any usb. And it made a little flash of light it's an LED Mouse and then nothing after that. I tried all different USB's and still only a little flash of power and then it stops working. But it still works on my brothers desktop.
