no sound with controller

hello guys! when I connect my wireless controller with a USB adapter my sound in my pc goes *** for like 20 seconds I cant hear anything I need to wait like 20 to 30 seconds for my sound to come back, in games videos and everything... help please, gtg to play the witcher :D

when you do , just go to the sound tab >playback devices> your headset/speaker
