I just opened my laptop and put it back together and turns out my cpu is upgradeable so you wron bruh BGA 1168 is upgradeable

make sure the new cpu does not draw more power tho....

motherboard might not like the extra power, and overheating issues might appear

It won't work with a 4578u, but it wil work with a 4600u.

ALso BGA isn't upgradeable or swappable. Its not socketed.

Yeah...

that could probably be an issue.

Check your temps right now, if they are below 60 (full load) degrees it will probably be ok but its going to be loud.

google around and see if anyone has done anything like this or close to it.

There will always be a risk doing that, as laptops are made just to run that hardware. (Other cpus not compatible with bios etc)

I mean I have seen people going from i3s to i5 but the power thing might be a problem but wait could you send me a link to something that can check my cpu temps because I only have cpu-z and fire strike gpu test so traking temps is going to be hard

ok min temps 60 max temps 77 avarage 73 to 75 cpu usage 100% fan noise low

That is way to high, unless the fan dosent kick in before 80-90.

So another thing to test is to set the fan to 100% in bios or using speedfan and check the temps then.

If the temps are 75 avg right now, it will be hot with almost double as much wattage.
