CD drive headphone stand

I had an idea for a headphone stand that fits into the cd drive bay so I made a 3d model on solidworks and had it printed. It's not perfect, but it's my first time using 3d printing and I'm pretty proud of how it came out.

The idea came about because I didn't want to waste desk real estate on a stand, and I'm not allowed to screw holes into the walls of my apartment.

That's a really cool idea, i'm surprised I haven't seen that before. Also I have a certain fondness for stuff mounted on pc cases. +1 for creativity.

I hadn't really considered that, but I think after some minor changes to the screw hole positioning I think I'll do just that. I'll post a link when I do.

Just make sure nobody tries to move your PC case by the headphone stand as if it was a handle. I could see that ending badly!
