computer troubles (windows 10)

this past week when starting up my pc for the first time everyday it has been freezing just before loading the desktop, a couple of times it will load the desktop but be incredibly slow and almost unresponsive. i must always unplug my system to get it to work once ive done that it works fine, no lag or any issues after that only on first start up. ive done my virus scans and found nothing. 

i suspect a windows 10 issue im wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and can help

 

this system is nearly brand new bought less than a year ago and was custom built for me (still working on my own skills and wasnt ready to undertake the build)

intel core i7-4790k 4GHZ

16GB RAM

64 bit operating system

gtx 970 GPU

running on windows 10 pro

Try setting mb back to default settings

when you get into the desktop and its really slow check task manager to see if there are any background processes slowing the system down or your hard drive is being over loaded
