Was it worth it?

So, I upgraded from my 8350 to a i5 6600k last month during black Friday and got the cpu for $150 new from microcenter. I am well aware that zen and Kaby Lake are right around the corner but I couldn't pass it up for the price and I wanted a 1070. So my question is since all I do is game, was it worth it for the money?

Oh hell yeah, it's $220 on Newegg and $250 at Best Buy right now.  Sick deal!

Yes. Since Kaby won't be a big upgrade anyway

Makes me feel better about my purchase. Got it for 180 but got a mobo with it so they have a combo deal that knocks off $30.
