RAID array migration from LSI SAS 1068E to LSI SAS 2008

Is it possible to move RAID 10 array (6xSATA) from LSI SAS 1068E to LSI SAS 2008 without rebuilding and losing data?

With raid transfers its always best if you back it up first anyway, as in the past even when it should of worked sometimes it goes wrong... 

 

Sadly I believe that these run on different controllers so it wont be possible anyway...

I have backups. I just wanted to know how long data migration will take. 

 

 

 

how are you using the controller, desktop or server?

 

Controller is used for vmware datastore and runs on Asrock H87M Pro4.
