I'm not home right now but I believe it can be disabled through the TP link web UI ans yes that's exactly what I'd like,  is this set up  through PF sense?

I've had a look at the manual, from the pictures it looks like you can disable "portal" on an SSID. So edit your SSID and set the portal to disabled. That will change it back to a normal access point without having to login to the internet page. Then do nothing on PFSense if that is how you want it.

I've recently switched to a pfsense router with a TP link EAP115 Access Point. The authentication method I'm using atm requires devices to log in through a web page and the maximum length between having to reenter the password is 30 days. This is not compatible with chromecasts however,  how can I change my authentication whilst still keeping a password and make it compatible with chromecasts?

Which device presents the login to the webpage? Are you using capacitive portal on pfSense or is the TP link presenting the login page?

TP link is presenting the log in page

I'm curious, why do you want to have a login page?

Is it an option for you to use the pfsense capacitive portal? I think you can then exclude devices from having to log in.

I just did stuff to get it set up,  didn't know that PF sense has its own authentication,  if I could have it so that it's like most home WiFi networks where you just enter the password in the wifi menu that'd be perfect.

Ah, so you don't even want it, you just want normal Wifi password? I can see it is also called Captive Portal on TP Link, is there an option to disable it?

Thank you, I found the SSID's settings and have now solved my problem :)
