I am thinking of using the money I am getting from Christmas to buy a new gaming PC because it current one I have is now 4 years old. I would like it to be a pre-built because, although it will be fun to build it, I would just like to get it from the shop, plug it in and play on it.

I will be using the computer for gaming as well as using it for college as next year I will be doing 3D game creation with unreal engine. I will also be using construct 2.

After digging around on PC World I have found the PC SPECIALIST Vortex Core Gaming PC. This Computer is the exact same computer that my cousin has got.

What do you guys think? How much faster is it compared to my current PC.

My current PC specs are on my profile page.

EDIT: Max money I will get for Christmas is around £485

Negligible performance increase, I would say less than 30% on the GPU side and less than 20% on the CPU side. Especially if it's 600$, for 600$ I made my friend an I3 6100 build, with a Z170(which is probably better tahn the board in there), a modular Seasonic M12 PSU which isn't like the ticking time bomb in that one either, a GTX1060 3GB which is about 2x more powerful than the gtx950 in there and lots more for the same price. I find people who still think these builds are a bargain, rather unintelligent.

Don't even think about that one, for 900$ all you get is the gimped i5-6500, an outdated gtx 970 which should have been changed to a gtx 1060 long ago, no SSD, and they dare advertise a wifi card? On a gming PC, just use Ethernet

first of all, i would never recommend to buy a computer which is already mounted and second, here you have this build instead of that one for the same prize but with better performance:

You can choose between learning how to mount a computer (which is easy and you can find a lot of tutorials through internet) or waste your money on a computer that will perform less than this build for the same prize... (and the difference at performance/price is huge)

Remember to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we won't going to recieve your answers...

PC Specs                   PCPartpicker full performance builds (from350$-1250$)

Not that power supply. Also why the mini GTX 1060 ? The Gigabyte Windforce or Palit Jetstream are only a few quid extra.

Never buy a PC from PC World/Currys. If you have to buy a pre-built pc then go to somewhere that actually knows about PC's. I would recommend somewhere like Overclockers UK.
