Hi all,

I'm having a problem accessing my USB. I plugged it in and heard the sound. But when I went to File Explorer to open the USB, it was empty. So, I tried to create a text document but I got the error: "Could not find this item. This is no longer located in This PC. Verify the item's location a try again.". I then opened diskpart to see if I could just clean the drive. But, it returned the error:" Virtual Disk Service error: There is no media in the device." Checking my USB in Device Manager shows that the device is OK, it even shows the name. The USB also appears in Safely Remove Hardware. I have no idea what is happening. Can anyone help?

Computer: Windows 10

USB: Sandisk Cruzer Glide 16GB

Thank you so much!

First thing you can try is reboot the computer if you haven't already.
