I can spend about $130 can. on a headset with a mic... although I'm not really sure what to get.

I've been looking at the Sennheiser 320 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106616&Tpk=sennheiser%20320

Kraken 7.1 (because it looked really cool) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153127&Tpk=kraken%207.1

And the Logitech G930 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104399

P.S. I'd prefer having an all in one headset rather than having a separate mic.

Thanks!

Is there any reason you don't want this? It's really not that more annoying, it's definitely worth the sound quality on both your end and other people's end.

Spoiler

I'd definitely say reconsider I have a clip on mic and it doesn't irritate me at all and the quality is great compared to my old headset mic and headphones are definitely the way to go

I'm not too sure at that price range since I only really looked into the headphones at my price range but I'm sure some of the audiophiles will be able to help out

Sorry I couldn't be more help but you could look for deals on hd 558s m50s ad700/x and pair them with a zalman clip on mic

Edit: also if surround matters to you then make sure you get open headphones where as if for some reason you ever plan to wear the headphones around people then get closed
