Kali Linux Problems

Hi there, i'm starting to learn about virtual machines and kali linux.

My system is a 64-bit running windows 10. I have installed the latest virtualbox and created a machine with the latest kali linux.

When I installed the Kali linux and oppened the terminal I could get pings from any site, eg. google.com, youtube.com, etc. and I could navegate with firefox esr.

Then I changed the Network settings to Bridged adapter instead of NAT. I could still get ping info but I couldn't use Firefox esr...

What can I do? Why is the bridged adapter prefered over NAT?

You're already bridging a private address, using NAT for an IP address that's already a private address is quite pointless.

Oh, ok, thanks ;)

Np broski. Remember NAT translates a public address to a private address.
