HDD not detected?

Go to solution Solved by steffeeh,

Have you gone into disc manager and created a partition for the HDD? Right click the Windows icon and click Disc Manager in the list that pops up. Alternatively search for it in the search box. Once it's up you should find the HDD but greyed out, right click it and there should be something like "Create New Partition", click on that and follow the steps.

Not 100% sure that may be the case though, as the last time I saw it it was visible in the file explorer, but you just couldn't access it. Worth a try though.

After reinstalling windows I cannot install anything on my wd blue 1tb only on my 120GB SSD.

In corsair link the hard drive shows up but in the windows folder application thingie it does not. What did I do wrong?

Right click on the HDD (the alternative below), and select New Volume or what it's called in english, then just click next and follow the steps. It will give you the alternative to specify how large the partition will be, also it will give you the alternative to select what letter to label it with, as well as what name you want it to have.

EDIT: If you're not planning on dividing the HDD into multiple partitions, then just leave the size option as it is.
