Hey all! I just joined the LTT forums yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on a system config, which I would like to lower the price of as much as possible. My price budget is max 1500$, and my primary goal is gaming at high settings, 1440p, with a steady 60fps on current games (Rise of the Tomb Raider, GTA V, etc). I plan on getting one monitor and a keyboard, because I am upgrading from an HP laptop, and already have a decent mouse and headphones. I also would like to keep a somewhat consistent colour theme, with no need for RGB lighting, for aesthetic purposes. Any and all advice is appreciated! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LDv7pb

You could save a bit by getting a basic Corsair CX550M 80+ bronze power supply. There's no need for "gold" rating unless electricity is very expensive where you live and/or you are overclocking.

The case comes with 2 fans already, you don't need any extra.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

Thank you! That will help with the cost a bit.
