Well other than form factor and DDR4/DDR3. I can just pick any 8GB stick and put it in my mobo right?

These two, to be specific-

This mobo- https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B150M-GAMING-PRO.html

with either of these-

http://www.amazon.in/Kingston-HyperX-Black-Pin-DIMM-Memory/dp/B00TY6A56U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480081983&sr=8-3&keywords=8+GB+DDr4

OR

http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Vengeance-2400Mhz-Chipset-CMK8GX4M1A2400C16R/dp/B01ARHCZYO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1480081983&sr=8-2&keywords=8+GB+DDr4

Also which one should I buy? Corsair or HyperX?

Thanks!

This all depends mostly on the CPU you are intending on using in this mobo.

Some CPU's will prefer a dual channel setup, some aren't necessarily fussed about dual channel.

I can't say for which brand to use, having not used either of their ram previously, but there is a lot of black on the board and a couple of red bits, so red ram would give it a bit more visible colour, IMO.

Yes, any stick of DDR4 *should* work. There are always odd combinations that don't work for whatever reason but thats fairly uncommon these days. I know Corsair makes some of the best memory out there so I personally would get the Corsair stuff.

Both ram are fine.

However due to the different frequency and timings.

There's a chance that it wont work together at dual or quad channel.

Your Memory might will run at single channel if that happen.

So just buy the stick that match your current ram or buy a ram kit which is guaranteed to be work on desired channel.

Thanks! xD
