Hello, I am about to build a new rig, and i'v decided on the R9 270x, but im nt sure what brand to use. In the past i'v alaways liked msi, but please tell me if you think there is a better 270x.

thanks!

7870 GHz or 7870xT (XT is better than normal 7870) whichever comes cheaper.

R9 270x is overpriced, old 7870.

If its the 270x you want...get one man!!! Although they do have decent prices on the 7800/7900 series cards right now and you could get a great deal if you look hard enough. Below are just examples...

Just get the MSI R9 270X it has great cooling and is a good overclocked card, don't go for the last generation 7870 when the 270X is a 7870 with some new features.(and it's the same price)

It also has mantle which will be used in some newer titles, BF4 will be the first to use it. The fans will gradually speed up when needed instead of just jumping from 600-1200rpm or whatever so you won't here the huge fan sound difference and it has zero core technology which basically will almost power down your GPU when it is not in use so as to save on power consumption.
