My friend needs to run 6 1080p monitors... what video card should i use? The monitors are around 24"

But that thing only has 3 DP ports, 1 HDMI and DVI

any 1070 would do, they would perform similarly. i think a single 1060 could not handle all those pixels, 6 monitors is a lot

All His Monitors use HDMI. DP to HDMI cables (1 DP to 3 HDMI)

i cant find a GPU powerfull enough to power those 6 monitors.... its the best i could recommend actually. i dont know if his mobo supports SLI

Used 980 Ti, Used Fury/Fury X would save you more cost. Also because some GPU (and I think most of them) does not come with 6 output you might wanna do XF/SLI

6 1080p monitors is almost twice the resolution of 4K gaming. 4K has 8 million pixels, 1080p has 2 millions. that makes 12 million pixels for 6 1080p monitors. I think that for smooth 60 fps at high or max settings 1080, 1080 SLI or Titan XP is really the only solutions, unless you cant get two used 980Ti's. Sorry, but multimonitor is expensive.
