Power supply squeaking

im about 90% sure its my power supply since it doesnt stop squeaking for a little while after shutting down/putting to sleep. heres a sample of wat it sounds like

almost sounds like crickets

it starts as soon as my computer turns on or wakes up and doesnt stop till i shut it down or put it sleep.

theres still cool air coming from the unit, im wondering if its the fan or the unit. its not noticeable with headphones on and isnt very loud thats why im not 100% certain its my psu. but it is annoying since i dont always sleep my computer.

any thoughts?

What a fun version of coilwhine. Basically, there's pretty much nothing you can do about it.

well to be honest i was hoping it was just coilwhine and not something that was more severe thanks for the quick reply ill leave this open over night to see if i get some other replies and mark it as solved when i wake up.
