Im building my first pc and i want it to be the best it can be so on my income it will take some time. Ive turned to linus and the gang for 90% of all my knowledge, what little i now have lol, and im finally ready to start ordering my components. I am haveing trouble deciding my color scheme and what mother board to get so this is why ive decided to finally join the forum!!! Anywho my plan is at least 16 gigs of ram, thinking of plasma to spice up the place, but no for sure on that so im open to ideas. Im putting in an intel i7 6700k quad core and hopefully 2 gtx 1080 but ill probably just start with one and upgrade when i get the moola to do so. Im also, according to the color scheme, still deciding on a case. Pls help linus media group your my only hope!

If you're going for team green, then how about black and green? I think that would work very well :)

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

Money isnt a huge issue because im not looking to build it like tomorrow lol. Its like order a part here or there bit my dream color scheme is black and yellow... hard to find black and yellow parts stock and im not comfortable enough with building yet to paint parts. But right now white and blue, black and green, or black and red are the top contenders.

if purely gaming, then a 6600K will be plenty and so will a single gtx1080

if content creation, then you could justify SLI and a 6700K

Something like this. Note I did not include the price for 1080 GameRock since I don't know if your place has it as it is a cool blue gpu (not for sold in America or Canada though)

RAM has plasma tubes as requested and is blue/white

PSU has a blue text over it and is a high quality one

The rest part are blue too

Why is that even a thing.
