Building New PC - Need Some Help

Im building a new pc. Im getting a new mother board, and i want to keep my hard drive from my old pc for the new one. I heard about that not being possible as it conflicts with the drivers on your new board. Is this possible so i can have my windows 10 and my files from the hard drive on my new pc?

It should be perfectly fine to use your old hardrive as long as you update the drivers to the new board ive done it many times

You might want to delete any old drivers though, because they might try to load at startup, and make the boot time of your computer slower.

how do i go about deleting my old drivers

If you wanted to get real fancy you could take a backup with software (Acronis) and do a Universal restore.. It can restore data to dissimilar hardware. Acronis costs $$$ though.
