Midrange PC build help

Hello all! I'm planning to build a PC for moderate gaming (nothing much more graphics intense than minecraft), some virtualiztation (most likely not more than one VM at a time), and general use. I want to make it a little bit better than what I need, so I can "grow" into it. Here are the parts I'm planning to use so far:

 

Processor: Intel Core i5 6600K 3.50 GHz Quad Core Skylake

Motherboard: ASUS ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 Z170-E

RAM: Ballistix Sport LT 8GB (X2 4GB sticks) DDR4 2400 MT/s

Hard Drive: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch

Power Supply: Cooler Master Elite V2 - 550W

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912

 

Please let me know if there is some incompatibility, or if I'm missing something important. Also, feedback is welcome

That PSU is not compatible with your own safety man, grab a Seasonic S12II 520W for $54.99 over at newegg.

And I wouldn't do the HAF 912 unless it was $40 or less, it's got a bit of a dust collection problem. Instead a NZXT S340, or for less a Corsair 200R.

I'm not getting a GPU, at least not immediately. I want to see how well the integrated graphics in the CPU work out first, since I don't plan to game too much. My budget is $600-$700, but I can go a bit over if necessary.

I'd really suggest getting a GPU, even light games like Minecraft would recieve an enormous boost in FPS from a GPU. I'd downgrade to a 6500 if you're not planning on OC and get a 1050ti or a 1060.

Thanks Energycore, I'll check those out! Thanks for telling me about the dust collection problem, I didn't even think to check for that. HoneyBooBoo, I'll consider getting a GPU, it might set me a bit over budget, but I will get one when I start gaming on it. And as for OC, I will expirement with that a bit. And if I do OC, do you think the 6600k is worth the extra $30ish over 6500?

I'll probably get the GTX 1050 Ti for my gpu. Any other suggestions?
