Problem with car stereo thing

So this has been a problem for a while now. The display is not lighting up when all the other things do. The car is a Suzuki XL-7 2003. Not sure if anyone will know what is going on with it but if you do, thank you in advance. If anyone needs the part/model number of the stereo thing, I'll add an edit as I am in school right now.
