Dual Booting Issues

So my girlfriend is having trouble with a pc and I was wondering if you could take a minute of your time to go help her out. Thanks. We are both pretty good with computers but we have no ideas about how to go about it. Thanks.

I tried, but to no avail. I tried with many Windows operating systems, but the same results occurred.

 

What do you mean by to no avail?

Dual booting in general. She's running Windows 10, and is trying to dual boot and her pc isn't letting her. Trying to dual boot any os seems to fail.

Well yeah. Did you have Windows installed, make a partition on the drive and then install Ubuntu to that partition?

We've done that and it still doesn't work

It has been a while since I've tried but if memory serves correctly it always froze on the loading screen for the Install. But I'm not fully positive.

This was wrong, I am sorry. I'm getting different pc's mixed up. So say she install Ubuntu to the drive partition and has it set to boot to it, the pc will refuse to boot. She has also tried it with a blank drive installing Ubuntu, and after the install it still won't boot to the drive. She has used many different drive and flash drives. Once again, I am sorry for the mixup. @wrathoftheturkey
