Okay I downloaded a program that i could feel messing my pc up, then all of a sudden computer crashed and would not boot up kept bringing me to windows safety options which anyone of them i went to would not work.

So i tried to reinstall windows to my SSD and it would not allow me to install windows to the SSD. Gave me a message saying "windows cannot be installed to this disk"

After it saying this i formatted the hard drive in the windows 10 installer and nothing happened and windows 10 would not install to my second hard drive either.

So i plugged my SSD into my brothers computer viewed it in disk manager to make sure it was still readable and it was and it was formatted but right restarting his computer he ran into the same problem I did so now where left with two high end gaming PC's that are not working and I have no idea what to do.

For the first time in my life i have said "I really don't know what is wrong with my pc!"

I read online that it has something to do with boot options and Legacy or some shit and i dont know what to do..

I want to try resolve this problem over this forum post so i don't have to pay some sweaty asshole $200 to fix it.

Please someone help me I will be forever grateful!

I can skype, TeamSpeak or Discord if needed just someone please help!!

Hi there :)

What is the SSD's brand and model?

Did you run a diagnostic test to see if the drive is physically OK? Could you post your S.M.A.R.T. status' raw values? how did you format the drive?

I would suggest using a manufacturer's tool to perform a secure erase of the SSD or simply use clean all from Diskpart.

What are you using to install the OS on the SSD (original CD, bootable flash drive, etc.)?

Does the other PC boot without the first SSD connected?

Could you provide the full system specs of both systems? are you doing any OCing on them? Try resetting the BIOS and see if the SSD is recognized, erased and if you are able to install the OS on it.
