GPU should be either a 480 or 1060 at this price range, just get whicher is cheaper and make sure it's either the 8GB version for the 480 and 6GB for the 1060. This is to just be used as a backbone, since I know part availability will differ.

I'd rather not use a Micro ATX, due to ATX being easier to work with/ upgrade.

EROLITH! Cmon. Literally only two of those parts is available in Ireland, and Euro-USD conversions don't work that way for buying stuff.

Listen, thanks for all the build suggestions, but that 1000 Euros does have to cover monitors, keyboards, trackpads, headphones, etc. not just the pc itself. Also, since I tend towards getting some games as disks, I would need an optical drive.

Oh. Didn't mention that. That's a REALLY big problem. Questions:

Mechanical keyboard or na?

Will a headset work?

Didn't do either of those out of fear I would go over budget. Both are fine though. I would recommend this for the SSD:

My budget is a little less strict than that. I can afford to go a bit over 1000. I might end up not getting a better cpu or a ssd for a better graphics card, but I think that's roughly the build I'll go with. Thanks for everything.

Alright, if anyone's still watching this thread, I finalized the build. It's more similar to my original build than to RPHawks' suggested one, but it does take some suggestions into account. All parts are taken from aria.co.uk, and I should be ordering in a day or two. Once again, thanks for everything.

I made a mistake with the monitor. Sorry. The actual monitor is here: https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Monitors+%26+TVs/22+inch/BenQ++GW2270H+22"+1920x1080+VA+Widescreen+LED+Flicker-Free+Slim+Bezel+Monitor+-+Black+?productId=65336.

Do you think the case will be a problem?

I know that it's possible to get windows without a license, but still.

I'm not all that bothered about the headphones.

Case is your call. About the headphones... they're probably really crappy and the mic probably sucks. It's the truth.

I'm aware that the headphones are probably crap, but I've never really cared about audio quality ( I often play games muted anyway). The case seems fairly well speced, and if it matches up with everything advertised, I'll be fine.

Yeah... as advertised. I'm just worried that both will be totally bad. Like... static audio and pieces of metal hanging. It happens.

Like I said, I don't really care all that much about the headphones. However, if you think the case is that much of a risk, well, you know better than me.

Alright, I'm going with the case you suggested: the NZXT Source 210 Elite Black Midi Tower. Better safe than sorry.

I'm not all that worried about the headphones. It's got ok customer reviews, and I can always use plane headphones if it breaks(I really don't give a crap about audio quality).
