Hey guys i have this computer which has 2 gpus the intel hd 4600 and geforce 825m and geforce refuses to work, gives me a yellow triangle saying it crashed.

 

Now i am not too much of a noob so i alreadyy did

 

fresh windows install

tried windows 7,8,8.1,10 all not working with same error

clean unninstall and install of the nvidia drivers AND drivers from the laptop manufacturer (laptop is medion akoya p7632)

tried downloading other drivers like for geforce 820m and geforce 830m (one above and one below) everything failed, if someone has any idea will be much apricated! 

 

here is the exaact error it says in device manager (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43))

i dont know of any specific driver numbers for that GPU. i do know the latest nvidia driver is version 375.70

well the one the pc is always installing is 353.62 and when i try to download the latest one it keeps one crashing and not allowing me to do that

right, that was one of my guesses but i really hoped that this is not the case. ill will keep on trying IF i find a resolution i will post here but so far, thank you for confirming my biggest fear :D

if you're feeling experimental (and if you're out of warranty, not that medion RMA's work anyways) you could pop it open and hairdryer the board to see if maybe it's a bad cap somewhere.

yeh thats the voodoo shit people to with desktop gpu aswell.... but eh, ill just use the onboard hd 4100... its shit but i can do my little basic gaming on super low settings at 720p... obvs not pc masterrace shit but i guess ill just use my desktop... just wanted to get some life into laptop its allright

i'm keeping my logitech performance MX alive with that voodoo :D
