Possible graphics card issues?

Heya,

I was playing some Rust earlier, when all of a sudden my screen froze. After a few seconds random different coloured pixels started appearing. I shut down my PC, and tried restarting it. However my monitor kept giving me a black screen.

I tested if my monitor was broken by plugging it into my laptop and it seemed to work just fine.

The graphics card that I'm using is a Sapphire R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 OC DUAL-X Boost. I tried plugging in my monitor directly into my motherboard (Asus Z87-K), and I still got a black screen.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do?
