If your choosing home, then prepare to be bombarded with windows forced updates and drivers, look at the picture below..... this is what will happen if you have a razer device (windows forced driver) I do not own the image, here is the original poster:             http://imgur.com/pnmbfgx

Even during the Windows 10 installation...Razer Synapse still finds a way to pop-up

Oh man. Pro is my only option then?

You can get pro on play asia dead cheap, its where i got mine from, with pro you can disable forced updates, however you cannot disable forced drivers (razer synapse will still come for you...)

I'm using Windows 10 home with Razer Synapse for my Naga, and I've LITERALLY NEVER had that issue.

I'd get a Pro OEM key from kinguin or G2A for cheap. (That's exactly what I did)

Its because you already have it installed. The issue is that windows 10 will try to ram razer synapse down your throat if you haven't got the software installed. So basically if you don't like synapse, too bad; your going to get it anyway or we are just going to constantly bother you, and perhaps even damage your windows installation, because we allow razer snyapse to interfere with a major system update.

If you have a razer device why wouldn't you ever have it installed? It is something to say that you disable it at startup, but not having it at all?!?

Just like danwager said, there are many places to get the pro key dirt cheap. Windows 10 is pretty good all around with group policy edit as you can actually take control of your system. Also windows 10 has major privacy concerns.... it key logs all of your passwords and uploads to the Microsoft cloud if you allow it....

It does not matter, not one bit, for gaming.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Why would you not want to install the drivers and software that comes with your products?

I do not like razer synapse personally, i hate the software as for me it has been extremely buggy and intrusive. I have 62 processes running at a time on my windows 10 installation, so when i do not like a certain program; it means i do not like a certain program for a good reason, not because im paranoid that its going to slow down my system lol (as i know some people are).

So you paid a price premium for a product and you're not even using the reason for the price increase...

With all due respect Jeffery... i have a right to my person opinion, if i don't like something for a reason, then i dont like something for a reason. Thats that. Theres no reason to debate this.

why is that? Pro is meant for professional people. Home is meant for home users.

there should never be a useability difference between versions of windows.

Windows 10, is Windows 10, is Windows 10...  The only difference is the features that they offer.
