EVGA GTX 1080 FTW or ASUS GTX 1080 Strix?

RideToHellBestGame2013

Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the whole GPU scene so I'm not really sure whether the strix or ftw is better. Is it true that the Strix warranty only applies in the US? If so is the Evga Gtx 1080 FTW better than it? The EVGA card also has heating issues with thermal pads so I am not sure whether it is better than the Strix. (Jayztwocents' video had a card at full load at 80'C)

I live in Singapore which is pretty hot, so which is better card in terms of temps/warranty/build quality/performance?

TL DR: Which is the better Price/performance card?

Im sure Strix is better

Ps. A biased opinion from an asus fanboy

Its a nice card but I'm quite concerned about warranty and what are the options if it comes DOA

Well it have gaming/oc mode not to mention 3 fans that can keep your card from thermal throttling and is silent unless your gpu raise up to 60degrees i think im not sure about the temp

What about the 'OC' mode, the video LTT made on it showed that they had difficulty finding it, are the tools for OC'ing it good?
