Im really in a tough spot, im trying to work out if its worth £50 to get a tempered glass side panel for my case, any suggestions?

It depends on if you're a PC baller (the equivalent of a hot-rodder), an enthusiast, or just a gamer.

Ballers need tempered glass.

Enthusiasts probably would like tempered glass, and it's one of those things that they'll get with some walking-around money.

Gamers can live with plexi windows. The amount of stuff that y'all throw at your PCs when they either crash or you lose a level (at least in my personal experience, YMMV) necessitates a stronger panel, though they are easier to scratch.

Make it yourself out of acrylic, get a large pizza, buy a game off Steam and save £20. As in not worth it IMHO.
