AMD GPU inside a modern laptop doesn't make much sense right now, except financially.  Nvidia has much lower heat output which will allow for thinner and lighter laptops.  Also, I feel drivers for Nvidia are still a bit more stable.  I have nothing to prove that but personal experience.  In my opinion a 1050TI or 1060 6GB laptop would be much more appealing.
