Hello I am new to the forums. I need a lot of advice. These are my specs. And I want to start a gaming youtube channel. So my question is should I scrape this whole system and just buy a whole knew computer, should I just use it as a rendering machine, or is it possible to use it to play games at 720P and record.

This is a very old PC now, the ram isnt enough to run the majority of games and it doesnt have a dedicated GPU.

It would be better to just start a new build IMO

Right I understand that but I could get a board with DDR3 Capability's and I could overclock the processor. I am just wondering if i did all that would it still not be worth it?

I'm not sure what you mean but I think, as @tahmidkhan123 said you should probably forget about upgrading this PC and start from scratch.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

Just as @Xanthe_2871 said starting from scratch is your best best. Buying a new mobo with ddr3 doesn't resolve the fact that the processor is not up to the job (oc or not) u still need a decent gpu. Then u need new supporting components so now we're pretty much at every major component in the system. Better to start planning a budget build with updated components.

Even if you OC it to the limits, it won't give you even performance of i3 2100. And that's already kinda bad CPU for playing and streaming.

For playing games and streaming, you need to get yourself PC worth around 1000$.
