I have been thinking about going with a full tower case for a long time now, but I have recently become extremely interested in mini-Itx, specifically the Bitfenix Prodigy. I was hoping to replace the stock fans with AF120's and possibly add one more. (Not using optical drive, downloading Win7 from USB.)

Rest of parts:

i7 4770k

EVGA GTX 780 [should fit if I take out top drive slide]

(Can someone recommend a good CPU cooler that would fit. Was originally thinking Noctua NH-D14 for the full tower build, but I'm pretty sure it won't fit in Prodigy.)

Either Corsair Vengeance Pro or G.Skill Trident X RAM (Both 2133Mhz and both 2x8GB)

Corsair AX760 PSU

WD Black 2TB + Samsung 840 Pro 128GB

ASUS Maximus VI Impact

I'd recommend a h100i and I'm sure it fits (I've seen it before). Other than that, great build.

Drop the ram to 1600 or 1866 and use the money to litter the case with noctua fans so the case has proper cooling, as I has cooling issues with a 580 in that case

Great build! But the Bitfenix Prodigy isn't actually that small but it's a joy to build in minus the tight power supply compartment. It also stands a bit wobbly due to the flexible bottom. But those are the only qualms.

This is true though. My 7950 will radiate heat across the whole case but it doesn't really affect my system as my drives are at the bottom shielded from the heat and my CPU is running at 65C.

For curiosity's sake, how much better would the Noctua ones be over AF120's? Also, how many fans can I fit into the prodigy while keeping the bottom hard drive bay?

By the way, thanks for the replies, everybody.

You can mount 2 Fans and I would use these the fans shouldn't block off the bay cage
