So, this is my current build right now:

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/zfvRzM

I've been thinking to upgrade my graphics card to something I can overclock, but I've been wondering if I should switch to an Nvidia GPU to get the most out of my monitor, or if I should just stick with AMD because I'm used to them.

I've also been thinking about switching to a new case. The one I have is nice, but I would like a new look and I've been looking at the case overall and it's got a lot of air holes, making it probably not as efficient as I'd like it to be. Also some of those new case videos the channel has posted have me wanting a new case. :$

And finally I have a question about PSU. I've had my build for about 2 years now, so it's been a while since I've looked into power supply units. I'm doing some research on them right now but I'm unsure if upgrading to a gold certified is worth it, or if it's similar to "brand" price tags.

Any help with this is appreciated. I might not be able to respond in the next hour or so but I'll get back soon.

I don't know the first thing about AMD video cards, having been an Nvidia user since like 2005 ish. But I say don't fix what's not broken; if you like AMD then stick with them and overclock the hell out of whatever AMD has out now. To the point about your case, you got a brand or style preference? I'd check out anything by Phanteks, more specifically their Enthoo Pro lineup since I see you have a full tower already. They usually put a lil more effort into their build quality and layouts, but that's one man's opinion. As to your PSU, those usually last quite awhile so I see no reason to upgrade as long as your wattage has been sufficient. The money you'd 'save' by getting a more energy efficient PSU would be trumped by the cost of the new one, and you likely wouldn't make your money back; the thing would die before that happened. At least that's how I look at it. Someone more experienced is welcome to disagree.

I will check out Phanteks, for sure. :)

And thanks for the info on PSU's. I don't know how much I actually hit with my overclocked CPU, but the build list I have says it's only ever at about 67% right out of the box, so I can't imagine it's anywhere close to 90% even with an overclock.

Then yeah I'd say your fine, power supply's are meant to be used and 750W is plenty for a single card even when overclocked. The only time I'd recommend shelling out a bit more for like a gold or platinum rating is if you're starting from scratch. But even then it can sometimes be a gimmick. I know Linus touched on this in one of his videos, check it out if you haven't already.

Oooh I will. I love Linus vids. They're so informative and they make me question my sexuality even though I'm bi. xD
