Hey guys, I just bought an Asus rog strix gl502vt for 1300€ and I noticed a little backlight bleed in the top left corner. It's only noticeable with a dark/black background .I haven't owned many laptops so I don't know if this is common. Should I return it? I'm worried the replacement will be worse or something. Also does it get worse with time?

(btw it looks worse in the picture I took it with my phone)

That looks like IPS glow, not backlight bleed. Does it change if you change your angle of viewing?

That seems normal. Does is extend to where I hilighted in red or is that from the room lights?

I've got similar ips glow on my LG UC87, I'd say that's normal so you have no need to worry.

Did you get used to it? Whenever I watch a movie I keep looking at that spot it's so fucking distracting

If its that bad for you i would try to get a replacement, you bought it with your money and you have to live with it. However if you get the same thing again, it may be something to do with the display that is just like that.

On my LG 34UC88 I have a similar glow, but it is limited to only about an inch in the corner and I don't really notice it unless I'm lookin for it.

I got used to it yes because in truth mine isn't terrible and is only noticeable at certain angles and on an all black background.
