Fallout NV on Win10

hey guys!

 

I'm running Fallout Nv, the regular edition of it and my game crashes once I start a new game and skip the cut scene, it crashes.

Obviously, didn't  think it would be that easy to play since I already own F03.

 

I've tried:

-running as admin(runs better when off)

-compatibility(runs better when off)

-tried a couple of mods for performance and script changes.

 

Specs:

pentium g3250

gtx 760 ti

8gb ram

 

please help.

I have been confused about this too, I am currently playing that game myself and on my gaming pc it crashes every time i load a game or start a new one. But my home theater pc it runs just fine so i've been playing the game on it. Both are running windows 10 pro.

That's not too reassuring for my planned purchase of Fallout NV for my laptop. 

 

It has an A10 9600P (Bristol Ridge) and 6GB of DDR4.

I think I might ask my friend what OS his laptop runs and what the specs of his laptop are.

you could try rolling back your graphics driver, I know that nvidia version 368.x drivers work with new vegas.

I'll try that. Thanks! I found a video online. it said that this was a problem with users who had win10 pro and nvidea card with the current drivers. so far, i match all those requirements for something to go wrong.
