Problems with Galaxy s4 active

So, not a "computer" troubleshooting. I got my S4 active from my dad (because i bought a shit nokia 630 wp...). He bought a S5 neo because it had battery failures. Like when coming down to 30%, it shut down, and when you powered it up again, the touchscreen didn't work. It did come right as he dropped it on concrete (as you can see in the picture). Now I am unsure it is the battery that is failing or the touchscreen, that isn't working.
