Windows 10 Explorer really slow/unresponsive

Since yesterday it´s absolutly impossible to use the Explorer. I had the problem a few days before too, but it went away after a simple restart. So i tried this today but it´s no use. After startup the explorer is fast (normal speed I am used to) for about 10 seconds, and then it begins to lag. I deinstalled the newest Update (KB3197954) from a few days ago but there is no difference. So i tried the 2nd (KB3199986) one , but it´s impossible because selecting it takes about 1 min. and after a right click on it the "deinstall" button doesn´t show up, even after 10 min. Windows like Task Manager or the unpack window from Winrar are empty for about 1-2 min., only the frame shows up and when I move the windows I have the typical Windows XP window glitch/drag we all know. Windows Defender has problems too. It´s slow AF and selecting a thing takes 2-3 min also. (I made a quick scan with it, no problem found)

Other programms run as smooth as before, Firefox etc.

Are you using IE or Edge?

With Exporer I mean the normal File Explorer, not the Browser. In German we say only Explorer, sry.

nothing to be sorry about, that's the correct term.  It's called "Explorer" and it's even technically the file "explorer.exe"

I have to agree. It sounds like something is bogging down your read/access speed.

Your terminology is correct. I saw you mention Firefox and automatically thought "internet explorer."

Ok, seams to be a temporary problem. The PC ran now for about half an hour and the problems disappeared. So I thought "why not restart and try if its there again". Done, and they are there again, in a lighter manner. So I would say there is something in the backround that draws power. But the taskmanager doesn´t show anything out of the ordernary. CPU at 2-5%, storage at around the same, RAM at normal 2.5Gb from 16. Strange.

try verifying your windows files, maybe something got corrupted^{resource 1}. also check the system error log^{resource 2} if everything verify's. if you don't want to check the logs than you can try resetting the settings or maybe even resetting windows entirely while keeping your files.
