I am planning on building my own PC within the next month or so. I am not sure what motherboard to get, I have narrowed it down to Asus as most would consider them the brand to go with when it comes to motherboards. The processor which I will be getting is the i5-4670K. My utter most limit for a motherboard is €100 or $138.

Asus Z87-K (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z87k) and AsRock Z87 PRO4 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87pro4) are boards for you.

Nope.

He has an unlocked CPU, it is a waste of money with H87.

The MSI Z87-G41-PCMate S1150 Intel Z87 DDR3 ATX would be my choice from this website that fits your budget: http://www.dabs.ie/products/msi-z87-g41-pcmate-s1150-intel-z87-ddr3-atx-8QWH.html?q=Z87

 

I would get the DCU II version or the Twin Frozr 4 version. They are both great coolers.

Like the Twin Frozr 4 because it is lighter than the Asus one which doesn't stress the PCI-E that much.
