Hello all I would just like to ask of some input on this build and future setup to see what you guys think of it. Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

Build: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/GoldenTree/saved/2y4R

Setup: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/GoldenTree/saved/2Ejr

So this build is based on Rog colors with Noctua accents. After I planned the build I came across two builds on reddit that had almost everything I was looking to get and I liked the look of it.

White Node 304: http://imgur.com/a/AWBMQ

Black Node 304: http://imgur.com/a/6iURW

What do you think ? Also if there is anything I could cut the price on, make look better or if there is something you do not agree with let me know please.

What's the system being used for?

The noctua fans throw off the ROG look especially in a small itx case that's less... 'imposing' compared to other larger builds in 900D's and such.

The blue on the side of the psu also throws off the color scheme.

More fans don't always mean quieter. Less, quieter fans mean quieter.

Caviar blacks can be quite loud. They throw off the whole quiet Noctua thing you have going.

I'd choose the white hue for the Node 304. Also I don't know how well the airflow/ventilation in the Node 304 is but do you need so many Noctua fans?

I actually think that ROG motherboards and noctuas look good together

I agree. It's just that ROG + Noctua has always seemed like a baller badass kind of theme to it. The Node 304 really cuts it down a few notches imo.

Opps I forgot I left that on I was talking to a friend and put the black on cause he was talking about rpm and forgot to change that thanks for noticing. Also it is going to be used for mainly gaming and school work, I would also my like to get into editing or things along those lines it just where I start right

7950 is most likely to be the best value.

Yeeah thats what I was going for.... but if the case puts is off whats the point right ? What case do you think I should go for in a good price range that is simple and elegant.

? The Caviar black is a standard 7200 rpm drive.

350D?

It was a weird convo, he was trying to prove that there is a difference in performance between rpm's and I know that but it is not enough to have me notice it so I did it to make him happy.

Also I had build Ideas in the 350D but I wanted to use the impact but if I do go 350D it will be the gryphon + armor and I would love to make it noctua as well but that is costly, I really want to use their fans.

Rpm does affect performance but that's not all. There's a reason not all 7200 rpm drives perform the same.

Ok so I just made one for the 350D http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/GoldenTree/saved/2EqL what do you think for just about the same price

Are you planning to sli in the future?

I see, I see and do not really plan to sli

In that case, the psu is really overkill.

My recommendations: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/1SM91

Remove all stock case and radiator fans.

F12's for h100i. A14's for front intake. S12A for rear exhaust.

Everyone has different tastes. What looks good depends on the person. The system I configured looks just as good as your list unless you're trying to specifically pull the golden/brown theme in the mobo.

If that's the case:http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/1SMWs

Yeah that is very true. I was going for a Black, beige and brown theme with a bit of gold. I would like all the cables to be black and nice looking because down the like I personally do not mind reusing parts. But trying to keep the parts on the most hand what show i down grade to a degree and I really appreciate your help

LOL if only it did not have the red

Oh, I thought you'd prefer a hint of red. From what I've seen on other builds, the golden theme with minimal red accents works quite well.
