Putting computer to sleep in the middle of a WU

Will putting my computer to sleep while its in the middle of a work unit cause that work unit to fail? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but i'm new to the folding world.

It will only process the WU while it is up and running.  So if the WU takes too long because of downtime, then yes it will fail. 

At least that's my understanding.

Okay so as long as I get the WU in by its "due date" it should be fine?

It will resume from the last checkpoint

when you start folding again. I think by

default it makes a checkpoint every 15

minutes or so, you can set it to 5-10

minutes if you want.
