I have hyper x cloud 2's at the moment but they are really uncomfortable.  I have owned them for like 6-7 Months. I have been using $15 Earbuds from walmart and having a better experience with a super crappy mic. The sound isnt great but my headset just hurts. Any Ideas? Should I buy new earcup things for my cloud 2's and try that or should i just buy decent earbuds (Around $100 USD)?

Edit- I game and listen to music while i play and nothing else. Im also a ps4 console peasant

How come they hurt? Is it the padding? Do you use the leather or soft foam earcups?

I use the leather ones, but have used the soft foam ones. I have used them  both for about the same amount of time... They hurt my ear and around it. I have big ears so over time they touch the back of the cup i guess i could call it. (If you cant tell im not much of an audiophile)

If you have problems with the cups not being big enough, then you should look more into premium headphones, like the Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X, and so on, or it may be worth investing in ear buds, however I don't recommend them over headphones, especially in the same price range.

If they are not deep enough but the size is alright you can always buy replacement pads.
