Quicktime plugin Help

Hello community

 

Just recently I started using Adobe after effects CS2 since it was free and legally obtainable. I have purchased Sony vegas pro 13 and have been using it for a while with no intention to switch to Premiere Pro 2.0. 

However the issue is that as far as Quicktime plugins, AE CS2 only supports 7.4 and under while Vegas pro 13 needs 7.x.x so I need to find versions of QuickTime between version 7 and 7.4.

Is there any workaround for this as I can't find any installer for 7.1.6?

I have tried using 7.7.9 and 6.0.0 both of which only support one of the programs and not the other and in order to use the plugin for the other program, I would have to uninstall and install the mentioned QuickTime installer version.
