Hey guys.

So at work, we have a remote desktop set up with Linux being our physical operating system.

I have wanted to bring in my ROG swift to work to use as my main monitor because it is better than anything work can provide me with. The issue I have encountered is that I cant see to make full use of the 2560x1440 resolution. That max I can get is 1024 x 768.

I spoke to one of our IT guys and he said Linux does not support that resolution. Is anyone able to confirm if that is the case because it just does not sound right to me.

Thanks.

CPU - i7 8700K / Motherboard - ROG Strix Z370 E/ RAM - 32GB Cosair Vengeance DDR / GPU  - GTX 1080ti - EVGA FTW3 / PSU - Seasonic Snow Silent 750W / Cooling - Cryorig H7 Monitor - Acer X34 Predator / Sound - Corsair Void - Case - Meshify C
