pc won't post with gpu

When i put my gtx 1070 in the system i get no post screen at all with display port plugged into either the mobo or gpu. When i take the gpu out, the system boots just fine. I get no post screen or anything with the gpu in but when i take it out i boot into windows or the bios.

do you have multiple PCI slots in your motherboard? if so try a few out. also, you can try booting to windows and installing the drivers for you 1070 manually. i would also check the power supply cables to make sure that they are working, or just switch them out for different ones. make sure the graphics card is seated properly and all the cables are snug. if all else fails, they do sell tech amulets in japan, maybe one of those will help?

well obviusly it disables the mobo port asoon as a Dgpu is installed , did you get the Card new? it might be a doa

Try either clearing bios, or prioritize your 1070 instead of iGPU in bios.
