Help with bluetooth headset question

Go to solution Solved by Gruenbaum,

If it doesn't work out, return it! Get something else. I would suggest the Astro brand. Very comfortable for long sessions and a not so bad quality mic. I haven't had much experience with the Razer Kraken Pro, but I hear it is nice.

So I bought the Call of duty ghosts turtle beach Phantom headset and I'm waiting on it to ship currently, its going to replace my current H2100 headset that broke for PC; from the looks of it, other than the digital optical cable there's no way to hook it up to PC. Since my current wireless dongle for my H2100 emits the same frequency that the TB's will, would it work to use that for the new headset, or how would I go about setting that headset up to PC?

I would assume it would work the same if it emits the same frequency, but you might have to sync the two. Unless you bought the wired version then it should just plug in. If it doesn't work you can always return if your seller allows you to. Be sure to see if the headset you buy is compatible with your computer.

Yeah in all honesty I rushed it. Though small probably stupid question; in the bottom right in the arrow it says "Bluetooth devices", I'm assuming that means my computer has bluetooth and should find my headset when I get it?

If your headset is able to use Bluetooth then yes, you should be able to link it to your computer. There are always adapters for this kind of stuff if you got a killer deal.

I mean on Amazon the headset is 110$ and I got it for 75$ so I'm pretty content with that deal. xD Yeah I just didn't know if my computer had bluetooth since I didn't build this one from the ground up myself for once lmao. Appreciate the help chap!
