Using another phone as bluetooth receiver?

The headphone jack on my htc one m7 has decided to stop working at all, even with me cleaning it at least 5 times,

so while I wait for replacement parts to ship I'm looking for a way to still listen to spotify,

I have another phone laying around (htc desire x) but storage on that one is shit, and for some reason spotify can't be installed on a micro-sd

Is there perhaps a way to use the other phone as bluetooth reviver?

so that I can plug my headphone in the other phone but use my htc one for controls and stuff

If you log into the same spotify account on both devices, you can use one device to listen and one device as a remote. Just noticed it cant be installed on the micro sd. any reason it cant be installed on the main storage drive?

that won't work offline.

managed to get spotify on micro sd, the function is stored deep away in spotify itself.

Offline it def wont work. If you need offline support for controlling spotify, than a bt media remote will probably suit you better
