hi, i was installing Windows Server 2016 onto my old pc (with a usb flashdrive) and it was loading files as it should. After that though, it got to the blue windows logo and its been stuck there for more than 20 minutes.

is this normal, or is there something wrong? I already checked if the pc meets the min requirements and its good. Anybody know a solution?

I think I've heard of this issue before. Have you tried updating your ISO file? Also, did you mount the ISO the the flash drive using the Windows USB/DVD Download Tool from Microsoft?

i used a usb tool called Rufus. i dont think microsoft makes a usb tool for windows server. And its definetly the latest iso, since i got it from microsoft's site

I would recommend using their official tool just to be sure. It does work for Windows Server. Here is the link for the download - http://wudt.codeplex.com/

Nope, instead i tried Ubuntu Server. that worked, so the it wasnt the usb. Thanks for trying

The ISO burned to a disk and attempting to install from the disk failed?

Hmmm.... sounds like an ISO file issue..... not sure what to tell you.
